The PADI Open Water Diver Course is all about exploring different aspects of diving and broadening your dive experience. In this course you will complete 5 adventure dives to further hone your scuba skills. The Advanced OW will introduce you to:
- Deep Diving
- Underwater Navigation
- Peak Performance Buoyancy
- Dry Suit
- Search & Recovery
The course includes knowledge development (class work), confined water development (pool work), dry suit/gear use and five ocean dives in either Whittier or Seward. Each of the 5 Adventure Dives can count towards the first dive of each of the corresponding specialty ratings!
